SABBATH READER
SERIES

. . . proclaiming the glory of God through history, one story at a time

Psalm 78 Ministries is excited to offer a special collection of historical reading: Sabbath Readers. Though these volumes are ideal reading for any day of the week, the titles within this collection are also particularly suited for Lord’s Day reading.

As the psalmist declared: “One generation shall praise Thy works to another, and shall declare Thy mighty acts. I will speak of the glorious honour of Thy majesty, and of Thy wondrous works” (Psalm 145:4-5). What better time to rehearse and celebrate the workings of God’s providential hand through history than on the Lord’s Day? Our Sabbath Reader Series is specifically designed to assist families in fulfilling this glorious task. Tales of missionary heroism stand alongside the chronicles of the great Reformers and the accounts of God’s providential hand in the founding and upholding of nations, with each story particularly written to highlight the glory and providence of the God we serve.

Gather the family, choose a title, and rehearse to the generations to come “the praises of the Lord, and His strength, and His wonderful works that He has done!”  (Psalm 78:4.)
